Luke Gorham has been an InRO fixture since becoming the right-hand man to a baby-faced Sam C. Mac in 2007. He gloried in his beta status until officially taking over as Editor-in-Chief in 2020 after the birth of Sam's son. He writes on film, music, and literature at nights, works in tech during the days, and watches his beard turn ever more white the rest of the time.

Morris needs to get out of the house more often, because he has developed an unhealthy obsession with his MUBI subscription and a seemingly unending parade of classic Hollywood films. He is based in Singapore and writes about film and occasionally music.

Chris Cassingham is a film critic and programmer. He lives in Brooklyn with a dog named Frankie, as well as his sister and brother-in-law who are apparently Frankie's rightful owners. He began writing at InRO in 2024. In early 2026 he founded the InRO Substack and serves as its editor. His writing can be found elsewhere at Film Comment, Filmmaker Magazine, MUBI Notebook, Reverse Shot, and Documentary Magazine.

Emily DuGranrut is an unprofessional professional archivist by day and extremely amateur film lover by night. She spends the rest of her time taking pictures of her cats.

Sam C. Mac has worked in film and music journalism for the last 15 years, with a particular focus on Chinese cinema. He lived in China from 2012 to 2014 and has been writing about film ever since. He founded InRO in 2006.
